South Oakland Eccentric

Submitted by Robert Wittenberg on Sun, 07/13/2014 - 7:57pm

The primary election is only three weeks away. Robert is working as hard as ever, and continues to be recognized for his efforts. More organized labor groups have endorsed his candidacy. Most recently the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, the Michigan Professional Firefighters Union, the Michigan Nurses Association and the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers have come out in my favor.

Robert is also endorsed by the South Oakland Eccentric. The editorial board said, “Robert Wittenberg makes the best choice for voters, based on his potential to succeed in Lansing.” The paper goes on to say “Wittenberg serves the district well in his pro-labor stance, his willingness not only to give more aid to education and examine the structure for doing so, and in his understanding that Proposal 1 should be passed by voters to restore funding lost through a cut in the personal property tax on business.”

The editorial concludes with: “The 27th District needs to send a new face to Lansing with fresh perspectives.” You can read the entire article here
