Robert had the honor of speaking with National Congress of Black Women - Oakland County Chapter in November about the ACA and also attended their Community Forum - "50 Years of Civil Rights: How far have we come?" on February 21st. Speakers included Jocelyn Benson, Wayne State University Law School Dean; Lisa Brown, Oakland County Clerk and Register of Deeds; Dr. Jerome Reide, NAACP Region 3 Chairperson; and Barbara Talley, former Southfield City Council Member. While progress has been made over the last 50 years, the struggle continues and Robert (pictured below with Lisa Brown and members of the NCBW) will be a champion for all Civil Rights.
